How is it that these boys can make me smile even when I don't really feel like doing so?

Wanted to cheer myself up a bit--so I took one of my more in focus Jensen panel photos from Vancon and played around (heh) with it.

Not going to go overboard like yesterday (I think)--after this I think I'll do what I originally planned for yesterday--watch some old SPN episodes.



ETA:  Yeah I know I just can't stop.  If I had the energy I'd break out my drawing pad...

Seriously? I know I've said this before. But what IS it about Jared? I'm supposed to be a Jensen girl for crying out loud. But it seems like every time I start going through my convention photos to "play" it's always the Jared photos that just grab me.

Don't get me wrong I still really really like/love Jensen. (Maybe I should have said Jensen girls don't get mad at me.) But I swear Jared just mesmerizes me.

I didn't even think he was that attractive when I first saw him in S1 of SPN. (That's what I meant by asking the Jared girls not to hate me.) He was gangly and kinda funny looking. And I was SO not into his mile-high forehead and weird widows peak that showed up in his younger photos when he had short hair. His nose was a funny shape too.

But it's exactly all those features that have me now intranced. I love his forehead and really, really love his uniquely shaped nose. And I swear how I ever missed how sparkly gorgeous his eyes are, I'll never understand.

I mean look ::::::


Another never-posted Vancon photo saved by wonderful photoshop.  I mean seriously...just LOOK at that face.  And there's that mile-high forehead that I'm now in love with.

(Oh and I really WILL be getting to Jensen.  I just seem to be stuck (heh) on Jared right now.  And I'm really trying to stop myself from piecemeal posting this stuff, but when I see Jared looking like this...I just can't stop myself.)

 

  I'm so impatient. I get done with just a few of these and all I want to do is post them. I'll have to link them altogether when I'm done. In the meantime, here's a link to the first Vancon 2009 Remix post.

(first off I've gotten NOTHING done I was planning to today because I've been so absorbed in LJ land today. but not the point of this post..)

I really appreciate being spoiler free because I've found I enjoy episodes that much more for being surprised.

But when I see something like this...



I just sit there, stare, and resist temptation while all the while thinking...but I wanna know TOO! (dammit.)  :-)



And omg..how is it actually already 4pm????


(Oh--but the good news about being 4pm is that it's that much closer to 9pm!!)

Dbl Oh! I just realized that screen shot I just put above may have an icon from one of my Vancon photos. It might also be someone elses, but the angle is more like the shots I took. I always get such a kick and a little thrill when I recognize my photos being used somewhere. Makes me smile!

I'm feeling hyper--perhaps it's from watching Vitamin D, the recent ep of Glee!  ;-)

(52) This photo is very blurry, but with some filter work I was able to "save" it.  I loved Jared's expression.  Funny--Dean is the expressive one on the show--but in RL, seems Jared's face is always in motion and Jensen keeps his expressions under control.

I went through my rejected photos from the J2 Panel at Vancon 2009. I was amazed at how many I could salvage with some photoshop tricks. There are 107 altogether so I'm posting them in 4 batches.


These tend to be in chronological order during the J2 panel.  But there may be a few out of sequence.  These were all images that were either too out of focus, had lighting issues, were too repetitive with other photos I was using, and/or had some other problem.  That's why there are various filters applied to the photos--to make them "usable."

I really, really do love Gabe. 

Gabe got to be my guinea pig for testing/using my new camera lens in the main conference room.  So a lot of the photos of him were test shots.  Plus since he was first I did post something early on during the con for him.  But then left for last all the other photos I took of him.  (Well almost last--I do have some Steve photos still to post.)

I just updated my original post on Gabe's panel with more photos.  If you are interested--you can find the post here.

I enjoyed Jake's panel a lot. I had no expectations about it at all. He was very entertaining. Very composed and self-assured.

When I checked the photos on Saturday night of Jake's Panel, I was not very happy with them. Which is partially why it's taken me so long to post them. When I went through them this morning, I was pleased to find I was more okay with them than I'd originally thought. I'd really thought only a few were okay enough to use.

Hey, tell me if I'm wrong. I noticed the necklace she was wearing. Is it the same as the one she wore in Lazarus Rising? I think it may be. Here's an image of her from when she first greets Bobby and boys at her house.
