How is it that these boys can make me smile even when I don't really feel like doing so?

Wanted to cheer myself up a bit--so I took one of my more in focus Jensen panel photos from Vancon and played around (heh) with it.

Not going to go overboard like yesterday (I think)--after this I think I'll do what I originally planned for yesterday--watch some old SPN episodes.

ETA: Yeah I know I just can't stop. If I had the energy I'd break out my drawing pad...

Vancon 2009 :: J2 Panel Remixes

I went through my rejected photos from the J2 Panel at Vancon 2009. I was amazed at how many I could salvage with some photoshop tricks. There are 107 altogether so I'm posting them in 4 batches.

These tend to be in chronological order during the J2 panel. But there may be a few out of sequence. These were all images that were either too out of focus, had lighting issues, were too repetitive with other photos I was using, and/or had some other problem. That's why there are various filters applied to the photos--to make them "usable."

Seriously? I know I've said this before. But what IS it about Jared? I'm supposed to be a Jensen girl for crying out loud. But it seems like every time I start going through my convention photos to "play" it's always the Jared photos that just grab me.

Don't get me wrong I still really really like/love Jensen. (Maybe I should have said Jensen girls don't get mad at me.) But I swear Jared just mesmerizes me.

I didn't even think he was that attractive when I first saw him in S1 of SPN. (That's what I meant by asking the Jared girls not to hate me.) He was gangly and kinda funny looking. And I was SO not into his mile-high forehead and weird widows peak that showed up in his younger photos when he had short hair. His nose was a funny shape too.

But it's exactly all those features that have me now intranced. I love his forehead and really, really love his uniquely shaped nose. And I swear how I ever missed how sparkly gorgeous his eyes are, I'll never understand.

Another never-posted Vancon photo saved by wonderful photoshop. I mean seriously...just LOOK at that face. And there's that mile-high forehead that I'm now in love with.

(Oh and I really WILL be getting to Jensen. I just seem to be stuck (heh) on Jared right now. And I'm really trying to stop myself from piecemeal posting this stuff, but when I see Jared looking like this...I just can't stop myself.)

Ugh. Because I slept basically ALL day yesterday, I could NOT fall asleep last night until around 4am. *headdesk* So I'm just now waking up. Haven't had my coffee yet and it's almost 12:30!

Ugh, ugh, ugh.

Plus I have an appointment today that I am NOT looking forward to.

To cheer ME up....here's some Jared...who always cheers me up.

Instead of rewatching some SPN episodes I ended up playing with some Photoshop filters tonight. I pulled up some of my Vancon 2009 J2 Breakfast photos--some I used and posted, others that I set aside because I wasn't so happy with them at the time.

I'm having so much fun "remixing" these.

(52) This photo is very blurry, but with some filter work I was able to "save" it. I loved Jared's expression. Funny--Dean is the expressive one on the show--but in RL, seems Jared's face is always in motion and Jensen keeps his expressions under control.

(1) Jared comes on stage for the J2 Panel. I believe he's squinting at something off in the distance. When I was going through my photos again, I noticed him doing this alot. Makes me wonder if the guy needs glasses/contacts, but chooses not to wear them.

(3) and yet closer. I have this thing for the sunglasses Jared was wearing that day. I'm thinking I might do some kind of photo montage of them.

It had the one benefit of making the boys appear to be sitting closer--even before they moved their chairs closer. But I had to choose which boy to focus on. It seems I tended to focus more on Jared bizarrely thinking that if I focused on the guy farthest away, then of course the guy in front would be in focus (WTH?? me?)

(17) But I sometimes did luck out and get both boys close enough in focus that with some filters I could "make it work."

(20) This was my favorite photo of Jared at the con. So it's not one my rejects. I loved what some photoshop filters did to further enhance the photo.
