17,000+ notes???!!
May. 11th, 2013 08:50 amHoly moly. I noticed this morning that one of my Misha photos from Vancon 2012 on Flickr got almost 900 views just today. I was all, what???!!! So I googled the photo and found this Tumblr post made 5 days ago with over 17,000 notes. Sheesh. I'm a bit flabbergasted honestly. How is that going to generate 17,000 notes in 5 days? I love how it's "strange photos of Misha." :)
Update: Okay, I found this via someone who just reblogged it 5 days ago. The original post was made on 4/24, so that was 17 days ago. That makes a little more sense. But still.
Update 2: I swear, Tumblr is so confusing. Now I'm seeing the orignal post was actually made in October 2012. So, many months ago. Still making more sense. I guess.
Update 3: And the orignal post has a link back to the one photo I noticed had almost 900 views today. And that one photo itself has over 15,000 views on my Flickr. I had never noticed that before (see below). I saw yesterday that my Flickr site had just crossed over 100,000 photo views.
Update 4: For posterity (whatever), a screen shot of the last 28 days of viewing on my Flickr for that photo. I which Flickr would provide stat detail further back than 28 days.

This starts out with Misha crashing the Js' panel. I posted some of these before, but have included a few additional shots in this batch. You can see Jared looking in the monitor that was at the front of the stage where he could see Misha try to sneak up on them. There's a video going around now that shows that when Misha goes over to Jensen to shake his hand, Jared slaps Misha in the butt. It wasn't visible to most of the audience. I have a shot at the moment right after the butt-slapping occurs. I couldn't figure out why Misha was giving Jared such a dirty look. lol.

Loved when all the fans dressed as Castiel were invited up on stage where Misha led them around in a "frolic".

When the fans went to start on the second poster I think they were stuck for some inspiration. I think someone in the audience suggested Rocky Horror and pulled up an image on a phone for them to work from.

When the fans went to start on the second poster I think they were stuck for some inspiration. I think someone in the audience suggested Rocky Horror and pulled up an image on a phone for them to work from.
One of the things I love the most about the SPN cons is the fans. I've met so many friends by going to these cons. And I'm always so impressed by the talent of the fans.
Case in point, at Misha & Jim's panel they had two posters of Sam & Dean that they asked for fan volunteers to come up and decorate to be auctioned for charity. Two fans volunteered - I assume on the spur of the moment, without any preplanning - and they did such an amazing job on those posters!

Vancon 2012 :: Some Misha from today
Aug. 25th, 2012 08:54 pmJust a couple of photos of Misha from today. Centered around the artwork auction for Random Acts. It takes forever to upload photos at the hotel, so I likely will not have time to upload much more during the remainder of the weekend as Sunday is usually pretty jam-packed.
(Plus I have a Jensen M&G, yikes!)
