Whew. Now I just have to do the J2 Panel and Misha.

ETA: Feel free to snag and use photos in icons, etc. Just credit me. Also please don't hotlink! For the first time I exceeded my monthly bandwidth--on the 1st day of the month! I signed up for a Pro account for the next three months. But would rather not keep it up past the initial hits these posts get. Someone asked if I could upload a zip file with the photos. I'll try to do that within the next few days. I need to actually clean my house soon--my guys kinda let it go a bit while I was in LA!

Here's the first half of the J2 Breakfast Photos I took.

Today I'm concentrating on just getting all the photos processed and posted. Then I'll circle back and add/update my recollections. I figured a lot of those are getting out there already.

I had a great table location. But unfortunately during the 30 minute delay (Jensen overslept) I made the mistake of playing around with my camera. I'm not yet familiar with all the bells and whistles on the thing. So I started fiddling. Stupid idea. By the time the boys got there, I'd messed it up somehow and I couldn't quickly figure out how to reset it. So some of the photos are not as clear as I'd like considering the great table I was at.

I was so busy over the weekend at the LA Con that I didn't even go online once other than to check the Con schedule very quickly.

I've lots of photos--some really great ones from the J Panels. I may not be back online tonight--not sure yet. I just returned a short time ago and will likely be spending time with my family.

Hopefully I'll be able to post stuff tomorrow.

I haven't even seen what anyone else has posted yet. But I had a great time!

Creation just posted the schedule for LA Con.

Misha will be appearing late Sunday rather than Saturday due to filming constraints (are they really still filming???)

And they added Aldis Hodge -- aka Jake.

So I had to do a autograph photo for him too.

Boy they sure did a lot of his shots the in the dark! Made it very hard to find good images for him.

If I have time later tonight, I'll post the revised schedule for my own history. But now I have to go back to the print shop and I still have laundry and packing to do.

OMG. OMG. OMG!!!!!

It's THIS week!!!!

fickleone and I are getting on a plane this Friday and winging down to LA for the LA Con!!! And of course there's a new SPN on Thursday before we fly out!

Side note: A neighborhood teenage girl was over visiting my kids the other day and she asked Emily if she'd seen MBV yet. Of course I perked up my ears and the next thing I knew I was squeeing with this 15-year-old neighbor in front of my kids (who were rolling their eyes at me as they usually do when I get in J or J mode). She and I were going on and on about how great Jensen was in it. She kept saying how at first she'd thought Jared was the cuter of the two (she only knew of them because of my obsession) but after seeing MBV--she thought he was SO cute! Then I broke out my J&J photo ops and she was like.... OMG'ing. *smiles* It was fun in a weird teenage girl way.

But back to the con...

I just got my non-Js photo op emails today!

I got my Gold Ticket, table assignment, and the Js photo ops the end of last week.

I already did my clothes shopping a week or so ago. Got my hair cut & colored 4 weeks ago or so.

I don't yet really know what I'm going to have anyone sign. I keep thinking I'll sit down with Photoshop but then I get so overwhelmed with everyone else's talent that I don't do it. If I can't get it done by 5pm tomorrow--then it's likely not happening and it will be stock photos for me.

I got my photo op and seat tickets and breakfast tickets in the mail today!

The photo op tickets are not as pretty as November's tickets--they are like the LA Con tickets from last year.

Plus I got assigned to Table 22 for the breakfast. Anyone have their table assignments yet? They said the table assignments were made in the order in which you placed your ticket order. I'm hoping I'm with my friends--but I ordered several hours after them--so I don't know yet.

Anyone else got their tickets yet?

ETA: Adding additional information:

I'm A26. I ordered on June 12th. The breakfast ticket says that tables were assigned based on when you ordered your ticket--not necessarily your seat #. I just found an old Creation email dated August 4 that said Gold Tickets for this LA Con were 2/3 sold out. That made me feel a little better since I ordered at least a month and half prior to that. So perhaps my table #22 is somewhere in the middle and not on the very far sides. *crosses fingers*

Plus I ordered a few hours after my other friend who are going--I don't yet know which table assignment they have. *crosses fingers again*

But in any case, I'm still so glad they assigned seating. I so did NOT want to get up at 3am again for the jam-packed day that Sunday is. Having assigned tables, even if they are not front row center is worth it to me.

And I found another Creation email dated October 3rd saying the Gold Tickets were sold out.

Plus someone else who got their Gold Tickets on the day of the last LA Con and who is in Row A says their table number is 12. So perhaps 22 ain't bad?

ETA2: Creation just emailed me back that there are a total of 34 round tables.

a_carnal_mink to the rescue. She said the SPN S2 Companion book definitely says Henriksen's name is spelled as I have it in the image! Yay!

ETA4: Updated the Castiel one -- darkened his name just a bit.

ETA5 (and hopefully FINAL ETA!): Fixed the Dean version to include better insets. Much happier with these. I still cannot decide between color vs. B&W insets.

bowtrunckle suggested B&W with a tinge of color added behind the boys or something. So I added a third version with a little orange behind the boys. What do you think?

ETA6: I liked the tinge of color in the background so much that I updated all versions (except the #b of Sam or Dean) to include it.

ETA7: Creation just announced that Aldis Hodge (aka Jake) will be appearing on Friday. So, obsessive geek that I am, I had to add pic #10 for him.

1) Sam & Dean with Impala. I can't decide whether to have both boys sign this one or have each one sign an individual one (see below.)

The Sam one below was one I did a test print on. The color version. My daughter seemed to think the color looked out of place since Sam was in B&W. So I did a B&W version of this and the Dean one below. Opinions? I've even considered scrapping the B&W promo shots for a more close up shot of each boy--in color. But I so love this particular promo shoot.

Let me tell you that my appreciation for the screen capping goddesses of SPN has increased 10-fold today. Wow--it's a lot of work!

BTW--I intend to change out one or more of the insets in the Dean photo below. Especially the profile middle shot. Earlier when I went looking for Sam shots, all I found were good Dean close ups (which of course I didn't save). I even found myself wondering if the Sam-girls were right that Dean gets more screen time or something. Until I started looking for Dean shots and ALL I SAW were great Sam shots (which of course I didn't see when I was ACTUALLY looking for Sam.) *headdesk* ETA: Updated Dean with better insets--much happier.

8) The Trickster - Boy does that man have an expressive face! I wanted to try to capture one that showed both his ticksey sense of humor as well as an overtone of danger. Not sure I did--it was hard to choose. But I had to go with this one because of the clarity of focus and angle of his head. So I missed out a bit on the danger vibe I think. But I'm happy with it none the less.

9a) Anna version a - This was the version I originally had in mind for Anna. But the image of her at the time of Uriel's death does not stay very well in focus when I enlarge it. Which bums me out. So I did another version below. Which do you prefer?

9b) Anna version b - I put the image of Anna with her hair wind-blown as the middle inset in this version.

They've added Anna to the guest line-up for LA Con 2009. I guess her autograph will have to be purchased separately.

Yay! Two weeks and counting! Two weeks from right now we should be in the convention center awaiting the first guest panel!

And they've posted the first tentative schedule. Highlights of which include a Karaoke Party and confirmation that there WILL be assigned seats for the breakfast (details forthcoming). Whew!.

Creation Salute to Supernatural

We have the SPN NJ Convention this coming weekend. Yes, sadly Jared couldn't make it--but we get to see Misha break his con-going cherry! And perhaps get Tyrannasaurous Prick questions as well *headdesk*. Really Misha? You gotta get to know SPN fans and perhaps think before doing a role like that JUST before your first convention. And isn't Traci Dinwiddle there? Plus JIM!!!! OMG I so want Jim at Vancouver (I'm assuming LA's out of the question now.) And the "I have a coupon" Dracula will be there too.

Then we have EyeCon 3 the weekend of March 20 with Jared! And more!Misha! And JIM!!! And Anna (aka Julie McNiven) who has gotten to kiss Jensen!

In May (29th - 31st) we have Asylum 3. With Jensen. and? more!Misha! And young!John & young!Mary! With Malik (who's also at a lot of the other con's listed above with Gabe & Chad and of course one or both of Jason/Steve). And, Fred makes another appearance.

To start my engines revving, I'm kicking off my Getting Ready for LA activities with this post. First thing on the activity list? Hair cut and color scheduled for tomorrow. Gotta give the hair a few weeks to settle down after the cut. In November I made the mistake of getting it cut right before the con. My photos...*shudders*

It was December 21st 2007 when

fickleone and I first emailed each other when we heard about an SPN Con in LA in March 2008. We weren't sure if we were TOO OLD or something to be going to something like this. We just knew we really, really wanted to go and LA was so CLOSE! We order Gold tickets on Dec 26 and then on Dec 31 I posted on

supernatural_tv asking for information and it was there that we "met" up with

mrsr58 and the rest is history!

Part of what I posted: "I certainly don't want to embarrass or creep-out the boys. I already feel strange enough doing something like this "at my age". If I think about it too much it weird's me out a bit that I could be old enough to be their mother and yet I'm a fangirl at heart (hee)."

And

mrsr58 responded: "um,,,don't worry about that whole "age appropriate" thing...you know those folks shannenb mentioned, the ones who camped out all night prior to the breakfast? well, they weren't exactly teenieboppers (believe me, i was one of them)..."

Thanks once again to fellow SUPERNATURAL fans for selling out the GOLD WEEKEND Packages at the upcoming Los Angeles Creation Entertainment Salute to Supernatural Convention, scheduled for March 27-29, 2009.

With the VERY rare appearance of both Supernatural superstars: Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, fans are coming from around the globe to raise the roof!

Please also note that Photo Ops with Jensen, Jared and the duo shot with both are very close to selling out and we'd advise purchasing them within a day or two to avoid missing out. We might have to turn it off at any time, so please note this.

When fickleone and I ordered our LA Gold tickets we both didn't order our J & J PhotoOps at that time. Then we both kinda forgot. I remembered a few weeks ago and ordered mine, but I had some Creation website problems and ended up complaining to fickleone, who then remembered that SHE hadn't ordered them either! I was so paranoid they would sell out like they did at Chicago.

So WHEW! We both got our photoops.

And wow--It's like 5 months away and they are selling out? I guess the con's are popular huh. I always wonder how they compare with the other show-specific Cons. I feel like we all rock, so therefore OUR Cons should be the most popular!

Item the First: I just went to buy my iTunes season pass for SPN season 4 and lookie! We're the #7 Top TV Episodes and the #4 Top Season Pass purchase for that moment-in-time! Plus the season has all 5 star user ratings on iTunes as well. Cool.

Item the Second: Several days ago I was ~~whining~~ posting about the torture of missing out on the spoiler conversations. Well I have to say that IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT! I really can see how knowing ahead of time about the premier would have kept my level of squee down a bit. Not that I wouldn't have still been squeeful--but I almost exploded last night.

Item the Third: New Creation Con guest for both Chicago & LA! The TRICKSTER!!!! YAY!

Item the Fourth: I'm still trying to absorb everything from the episode last night. I loved it so much!

Item the Fifth: I love SHOW! (Duh)
