SPN 4x01 Picspam Review (SPOILERS)

I rewatched the episode for the 4th time and found myself taking screen shot after screen shot.  I have about 40 of them, so hold on. 

WARNING:  Spoilers for 4x01 and very not friendly to dial-up.



1) It seemed to me that when Dean came out of the grave, it was like he was being born again...



2) balefully already posted a screen shot of this.  Not sure I would have noticed yet if she had not posted already-but LOOK at this shot!



3)  Open Title--wings?  Angels?  Or Birds?  I vote for angels.  See one of the last pix of Castiel.



4) Dean quenching his thirst.  Just GUH.



5)  Abs!  And Tat!  (I had to take multiples of this sequence...)






6)  Dean is branded by God!



7) Dean's smirk at Busty Asian Beauties!



8) Just thought this was a beautiful shot of Dean.



9) Another beautiful Dean.  When he sees Bobby for the first time.  He looks so...vulnerable.  And I just realized.  Sam buried Dean in the shirt that best brings out Dean's eyes.  *Sigh*



10) The closest thing Dean has to a father.



11) This was both funny and sexy!  With Wet!Dean and tongue porn!  I had to include several of these...  You can never get enough of wet!Dean!













12) Kinda with the "born again" comment--does Dean seem ... fresher? aka "new born" to you? 



13) Sam sees Dean for the first time.  And is Sam--bulkier?





14) Dean gazes back.  *FLAILS*



15) And OMG!  Look at those arms on Sam/Jared!

21) IDK--this shot just grabbed my attention from the first time I saw it.  It just didn't seem like Sam (which is probably the point.)

24a) There are just so MANY great and beautiful Dean pictures in this episode.  I kept wanting to stop to take more screen caps.

25) "You might want this back."  OMG!  Another AMULET moment!  I KNEW Sam would keep and wear that amulet!

29)  Hee!  Sam looking guilty for defiling the Impala.



30) Dean:  "I am so in!"  Sam:  "She's gonna eat you alive!"



31) Dean to Grumpy:  "You are not invited!"  And does Sam look kinda ...  excited ... by the idea?



32)  Hee!  Dean thinking:  "She sure ain't my Sammy doing the Latin thing."

35) I don't even know what to say.... *flails even more*  This episode is so full!  It's almost overwhelming.  No, it *IS* overwhelming.





36) "I'm Castiel...an angel of the Lord."  ...  "This is your problem Dean.  You have no faith."  OMG.  Is he really?  Was Kripke trying to....well..Kripke us .... when he said SHOW would not deal with angels?????  But I love the idea of Warrior-type angels such as mentioned in HoTH.



37)  And here I was complelely flipping out.  Just ask my family.  I'm not a huge fan of angels.  But, again, Warrior Angels???? I can so get behind that!



38)  Pretty and ambigious Holy Tax Accountant!   Is he good?  Is he not-so-good? 

Castiel:  "Certain people.  Special people.  Can perceive my true visage.  I thought you would be one of them.  I was wrong." 

So?  Does this mean that Dean is supposed to be "special" but isn't special enough?  What the heck *DOES* this mean?

Remember what Mary said to Dean...."Angels are watching over you."       !!!!!!!!!!! 



39)  Castiel is perplexed.  Exposed for the first time to Dean's low sense of self-worth.



40)  Castiel:  "Good things do happen Dean."    Dean:  "Not in my experience."
Castiel:  "What's the matter?  You don't think you deserved to be saved." 

OMG.



42)  And Dean's look at that statement.



And....

"Because God commanded it."  "Because we have work for you."


 


Can.  Not.  Wait.  Is it Thursday again?????
