growyourwingsMy re-watch reaction (which is better, thank god). Screen-caps under the cut--so don't open if you haven't seen the episode.
You know what did impress me about this episode? How the filming technique, directing, acting, editting really made us see Dean and Sam from a different POV. They were still Dean and Sam but I really felt like I was seeing them not through my eyes but through another character's eyes. Impressive.
I really liked the scene where Sam and Dean explained about Death Echos to whomever was holding the camera as they walked through the house. I especially liked Sam. I felt like Sam was talking directly to me. That was cool. Actually very cool.
Hee! I loved the look Dean gave the dude who was EMF'ing him as Dean took the box out of the fridge. Priceless.
"Daggett brought the remains home from the morgue....to play. EWWWW!" dbl ewwww.

Great shot with poor Corbett in the foreground and the boys in the background.
I really liked the MoTW (Daggett) very creepy.
Another great shot of corpse!Corbett in the foregound and ghost!Corbett in the background about the tackle and take down Daggett. This shot really reminds me of a well-designed graphic novel panel.
The "give Sam and me a private moment moron" moment
Just liked this shot (I have a thing for trees)
I also liked all the various shots of the Morgan House

Lines I loved:

It's our Grand Canyon.
He never heard of a real doll? (ewww)
Daggett was the stuff-your-mother, Norman Bates kinda lonely.
You gotta go be gay for that poor dead intern!
So while I'm glad to say I no longer hate this episode and that I can now better appreciate it. I gotta admit. I still missed seeing more of the boys.
And of course, the Impala. I squeed a little about 15 min into the episode when I heard her engine approaching.
But the high-quality craft of this episode is awesome.
