List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your LiveJournal along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to.
In no particular ranking....
Half-life by Duncan Sheik (because I love the vocals)
The Last High by The Dandy Warhols (Fell in love with this song because of a fanvid I saw about Brian from QAF. But then discovered The Dandy Warhols, who are from Portland where I live. Have many of their songs now.)
Sway by Michael Buble (Because I love Michael Buble, and this song makes me want to dance. And I do NOT like to dance.)
Crazy by Gnarls Barkley (which can describe my work life some days)
Babylon by David Gray (Just because I love it. Found this one on an episode of Boston Legal)
Pure Imagination (as sung by Gene Wilder in the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Love this movie, love the song.)
Advertising Space by Robbie Williams (I discovered Robbie through the Cole Porter movie "De-Lovely." Also discovered Diana Krall. I now own most of their albums. There's something about this song that I just love, the words, the music, his voice...the combo of all.)

I know it said seven, but I also just had to list:
Look out Cleveland by The Band (I found this sound through the movie "Home at the End of the World" which I loved. I ended up purchasing several songs from The Band and from Laura Nyro because of that movie.)
Come Away to Belize with Me by Jerry Jeff Walker (because it makes me smile)
Cornflake Girl by Tori Amos (because it's got a great melody, rythym, and is just plain different. I like different.)
Father and Daughter by Paul Simon (because we just took my eldest daughter to college and this just hit home.)
My Imaginery Friend by The Divine Comedy (again because it's different)
Save Room by John Legend (just cuz I like it)
Okay that's too many and I could go on. After years away from listening to music other than what just happened to be on the radio, I've rediscovered the joys of music--all thanks to my iPod. I've gone from owning just a few CDs to owning 3000+ songs, multiple music videos and fanvids. I love being able to listen to what I want to, when I want to, and sometimes based on my mood (thanks to the list feature on the iPod.)
Oh, and BTW, still home with bad cold, but getting better. Plus all the rest the cold has forced on me has done wonders for my disposition.
Oh, and BBTW, as far as "tagging" anyone....I tag anyone who hasn't done this one yet.
