8 Days of Happy Meme - Day 2
Dec. 18th, 2008 05:50 am.
I'm cheating a bit as this post was due yesterday. But I was offine for most of the evening due to a RL event and before I left I hadn't yet thought of what to post.
But since fickleone called me last night with the news of the SPN Con in Vanc BC next August I figured this counts since I learned about it yesterday!
So my Day 2 post is about SPN Cons! They make me so happy. And by extension--FANDOM. I've posted many times before about how much Fandom has come to mean to me--so I won't repeat it again--except to say how happy I am to have found my way into this...
And....YAY---another SPN Con! In Vanc!!!!!
We need a tour of SPN filming locations...

Yesterday they canceled schools and we had nothing--although until around 4pm our butte hill was still very snowy. But it metled completely overnight.
So Tim went to school this morning and I drove into downtown for work. The roads were very clear. Then an hour later it started coming down HARD. It wasn't supposed to start again until maybe tonight--but more likely Sunday!!!!
So I ended up going home again and barely made it up our hill. It's an hour later and we have as much snow as we got on Sunday--in a much shorter timeframe.
And Tim is still at school. I just tried calling the school office--I can't get through--I'm sure everyone's calling them.
Just heard on the news--3 inches in Troutdale in less than an hour (which is about 2-3 miles from us)
