Things I liked about the episode in no particular order:

::: Boys in nerd glasses = <3
 ::: Domestic Dean.   Nesting Dean.  Cooking food for Sam.   Getting food for Kevin.
 ::: Sam *loving* the burger Dean made.
 ::: The Trials - I wasn't sure how I would like what I'd heard about the Trials.  But I'm liking that (again) the boys are both sacrificing for the other (*loves*)
 ::: Kevin is really growing on me.  I was always kinda meh about him, but I'm liking him more and more.
 ::: Sam fighting the hell hound
 ::: Dean in nerd glasses
 ::: Sam in nerd glasses
 ::: Dean setting up his room.  Putting out a photo of his Mom and him.  (*heart clench*)
 ::: Dean missing his room.
 ::: The boys having their bat/wincave but still going on the road with the Impala.
 ::: Dean caressing a classic rock LP.   :)
 ::: Best of all?   Sam's speech to Dean (visual version here) at the end.
 ::: The Epic Love Story of Sam & Dean is back.   =D
