LA Con 2009--I am SO LAME!!!
Jun. 12th, 2008 07:26 pmOkay so I claim hormonal imbalance or something.
My husband and I made a pact with each other that we wouldn't buy miscellaneous items on credit any more. It's had amazingly good results. I've actually enjoyed saving up for things in advance.
So I was planning ahead so I could go to the SPN LA Con in March 2009. I figured I'd have enough saved to buy a gold pass in August.
Then
fickleone and
mrsr58 went ahead and bought their passes today. I felt so DEPRIVED!
I thought I was going to torture myself by going to the Creation site and seeing how much EXACTLY I needed so maybe I could order the ticket a little earlier than I'd planned.
When I got to the site I saw the price of $439. Huh? I was trying to save $900! I thought--did they slash the price or something? So I called
fickleone and asked if I was seeing things. I was so confused. Then I remembered. When I bought the LA tickets last year I bought for both
fickleone and me! So with shipping and everything it was close to $900. Plus I bought photo ops at the same time. *head desk*
But YAY! That means I actually had enough RIGHT NOW to get a gold pass! So.... I DID! YAY!
(plus I feel a little stupid for thinking I spent $900 on one ticket last time.)
