And now for something completely different.

I'm not a huge fan of the twitter site Shit my Father Says (or whatever it's called).  I was however, tickled to hear that Shatner had been cast to play the Father in a TV take off.  

I saw a post about it on ontd_startrek  and was a little bummed to hear that perhaps the show might not be that great (although everyone seemed to love Shatner!)

But bigmamag  posted THIS vid.  I've been a Shatner fan since I was 6 years old and sat down to watch the first episode ever of Star Trek with my Dad (and yes I did just date myself there.)   And I spent a few years combing the net and collecting quite a bit of Shatner lore and vids.  And I collected what I thought was ALL of the available instances of Shatner singing.   (And btw despite the campiness of his "music" career, I absolute LOVED, LOVED, LOVE his "Has Been" CD.  Wonderful!)  

But I'd never seen this one before!  Ha!

And back to Has Been, here's one of my favorite pieces from that CD (just ask Em as I listened to this one WAY too much for her sanity!)
