I have my main iPod mix on in the background. Just now "Don't Fear the Reaper" came on.
Boy that brings back great memories. This was the first song from SPN that I DL'd and started to listen to. It also was about the same time that I realized I might be getting hooked on this little TV show that I was just watching because a few people on LJ said it was good.
Basically this song reminds me of the beginning of my love affair with SPN. It makes me feel nostalgic because SPN and it's fandom has changed so much over these past few years. I kinda miss the height of the glory days.

fickleone just stopped by to pick up their kids. They were at a sci-fi convention here in town. My brother said one of the panelists was someone who had a lot of "inside" knowledge about various shows. I can't recall the dudes name (or even if my brother mentioned his name). The guy talked about many shows for a few minutes each show. Someone (my brother?) asked if SPN would get a 6th season, the dude replied basically "almost certainly." Someone asked about Kripke being involved with the 6th season and the dude replied, "Oh they're talking."
