Autumn is a Second Spring...

I was inspired by the beautiful autumn weather yesterday and took my camera out in our yard.
Honestly, it was a spider that first caught my eye. When I was a kid I had this thing about spiders. I loved to watch them weave their webs and, yes, catch their prey. Maybe I shouldn't admit that I use to catch bugs to put in their webs just to watch what the spiders would do.

Heh. let's see if the defriendings commence after that confession!
When I walk out on our front deck and feel the whisp of a web against my face, that's one of the first signs of autumn for me.
I do love autumn. It has a crisp, distinctive feel.
I'll admit I don't much care for winter any more. Ever since our last winter (Snowpocalpyse!) But I love the change-in-the-air feel of autumn. It gives me energy somehow.
Inspires me.

Above: I don't know whose cat this is. I practically stepped on him/her as I was trying to focus in on the spider. S/he had such beautiful eyes that I paused to snap a photo.
