growyourwingsI really don't follow politics or campaigns much. Don't trust much that is said in public, in print, on news-casts, whatever. Pure political doublespeak.
That said, I'm impressed with this. (I saw a link a short time ago on my f-list posted byembers_log) It seems to be a straight-talking, honest statement. If I had any previous thoughts about Obama it wasn't anything to do with race, more to do with "isn't he kinda young to be president?" *is showing my age* I think I read/heard later that the man is older than I thought based on his appearance.
But regardless, this was a campaign speech actually worth listening to.
