Just ramblings....
So I skipped all the teeth-falling-out, wormy hamburgery type scenes. Well done--but I really didn't need to see them again! Kripke is sure indulging his love of gore this season.
I still really liked this episode after watching it for the 2nd time!
It was interesting seeing Sam take more control in the interviewing-the-witnesses part. Part of him becoming more like Dean? I don't like Sammy being so ready to kill humans, even if they are murders, though. Not that it's a bad plot development--I just miss the kinder, gentler Sammy. (As does Dean? Despite all his bitching at Sam in the past about it?)
I really liked Dean and Ruby's interactions in this episode. I never really disliked Ruby--I had no strong feelings either way. But I really like her right now. I think she adds to the story. The scenes between Dean and Ruby were great! Just an aside--during the last scene I kept seeing David Cassidy in Katie--her eyes, smile, and some of her facial expressions. I was one of those teenage girls who had a thing for David at the time.
Sam was just ...um... kinda hot this episode. Maybe I don't miss the kinder, gentler Sam after all?
The scene between Tammy & Ruby were also great. Katie Cassidy did a good job I thought.
Dean's going to be a demon?? I didn't see that coming at all. (and neither did Dean.) Will this change his mind about fighting the deai? But of course, there's still the threat to Sam if he did. Has Sam given up on fighting the deal? He sure seems more resigned--talking about getting ready to go on without Dean.
I love the preview for next week's show! The glimpse of black-eyed demon!Dean!
I love this show.
Watched the third episode of Torchwood this afternoon...more on a later post.
