If you haven't seen this yet, this video has gone viral on YouTube (and FB) with over 3.6m views on YT. I started seeing it linked a few days ago, but was resisting watching it due to my obstinate nature against viral videos (which honestly is nothing honorable or anything, just this weird reaction I get.)
Turns out this was done by a local Portland actor, which is likely why I saw it explode all over my FB feed a few days ago since I'm in the Portland area and have friend's in the acting community. If you like Portlandia - this is along the lines of keep Portland weird (aka quirky).
This is very creative. I love my town and the people in it. I laughed and also got verklempt at the same time.

Update: They are going to be on the Today show on Tuesday.

"On Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012, I told my girlfriend to meet me at my parent's house for dinner. When she arrived I had stationed my brother to sit her in the back of an open Honda CRV and give her some headphones. He "wanted to play her a song"...
What she got instead was the world's first Live Lip-Dub Proposal."

Following the explosive popularity of his marriage proposal video, Portland actor Isaac Lamb and his fiance, Amy Frankel, will appear on NBC's "Today Show" on Tuesday, Lamb said.
His only comment? "Ack!"
But with 5 million hits in three days, exposure on national TV should be no problem for Lamb or Frankel. Both are performers used to being in front of an audience.
