I was so impressed with some of the shots in 4x13 yesterday. I couldn't help but be reminded of Kim Manners.
So I looked up this director, Adam Kane, who I think has never directed an SPN ep before. Turns out he's a cinematographer. Makes total sense, given some of those shots.
Looks like some of his first directing gigs were on Heroes.
I've posted some screen caps of some of the amazing shots from last night's ep. I hope Adam Kane directs more episodes.
ETA: I was re-looking at these and remembered all those great angle shots in Heroes--the ones that reminded me so much of a well-designed graphic novel.

Boston Legal 5x01--God Are We Weird?

The love between these two characters.
I swear.
*L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole playing in the background*
Denny and Alan dancing on the balcony holding Shirley's cheerleading outfit. After agreeing that Alan will take the bottom and Denny the top; and then they'll switch off in the morning.
As they dance...
Denny to Alan: "Are we weird?"
Alan to Denny: "So weird."
*sigh*
And earlier in the episode as Alan tells Denny that he doesn't know what he'd do without Denny in his life.
*smishes them*
