Wow...

Guys, I tracked all the comments on three LJ posts just before I left for my drawing class last night at 5:30 pm.  It was the posts from [livejournal.com profile] missyjack , [livejournal.com profile] anteka  and [livejournal.com profile] canadiangoddess  about reports from the set of SPN about Kim.

I didn't log in last night when I returned from class.  I was too hyped from the drawing class itself.

When I logged in this morning there were 210 emails of comments to those three posts.

Wow!

I'm trying to read through them right now while I'm working to get my son off to school--who is likely to miss the bus.....

ETA:  Looks like Tim made the bus.  Whew!

And [livejournal.com profile] anteka responded to one of the commenters to her post about her visit to the SPN set:  "The day we were up on set, he [Kim] didn't need to be there but was just hanging around because he liked being on set. Jim Beaver was there too, not because he had scenes, but just because the set was like a home."

This is such a big factor in why I'm a such a devoted SPN fan.  The CONTINUOUS and CONSISTENT reports from crew/cast members and set visitors (some from jaded reporters) about the sense of family on that set.

A couple of years ago I was enjoying watching Grey's Anatomy and while I never would have gotten that involved with that fandom--I did really enjoy it.  Until one day I stumbled across a report about bickering and back-stabbing between cast members.  And I totally lost interest in the show.

I saw this somewhere on my flist in the past 24-36 hours, but was too stunned by Kim's death to post about it.

I love this artwork.

I don't know if the US version will be released in two parts, like I remembered reading somewhere--perhaps it's just the UK version?  If it's the US--then kinda shame on BSG for starting a trend that I really don't think we need...

And I especially love THIS part!

Moonlight Serenade by The Glenn Miller Band just started on my iPod.

I *swear* there is no other song in the world that just melts my insides to absolute mushy mush of the mushiest sort.

I've loved this song since I was like in 6th grade.  It's on my main playlist, but since I've almost 300 songs on that playlist, it doesn't come up that frequently.

But when it does I ALWAYS just.  Stop.  Everything.

And sigh in bliss.
