I can't believe I hadn't posted these yet.   Sheesh.

above :: J2 Sandwich.  =D    This was my first photo op with the guys at this con.  I went up to Jared and he gave me a big bear hug.  I told him I had been looking forward to getting one of his hugs, he laughed and smiled.   I was so focused on Jared that I'm not sure what I even said to Jensen.  Which considering I'm a self-defined Jensen girl, was strange.  Both guys were very relaxed and smily on Sunday.

What to say about Jensen that I haven't ready said 10,000 times. He was the reason I started watching Supernatural. Not because I knew who he was - but because of a random comment by someone online.   He was all smiles and hugs at BurCon.  =D

above :: This was my second photo with Jared at this con. (The first was the J2 sandwich). Jared pulled me in for one of his patented Jared bear hugs. :)

above :: Jared with Fickleone and I. When we thought Kim had canceled on Friday, we decided to trade her photo op tickets in and split another solo Jared photo op. When we discovered she had not cancelled (yay!) we had gotten excited about a 2nd Jared photo - so we went ahead and got it anyway. :)

Jared was, as usual, this ball of huggy energy. Like a gigantic puppy who loves to pull pranks and make people laugh.

above :: Fickleone and I with Matt Cohen and Richard Speicht during "Dick and Matt's Karaoke Experience."

Like many other SPN actors, they never appeared on the show together. They met at the conventions. And hit it off. Over time they started to take over the Friday night karaoke event and turned it into a 1960s theme party dubbed "Dick and Matt's Karaoke Experience."

We've seen Matt at a few cons and Richard at many. Richard has a tendency to take control - in a good way. Kim Rhodes (who also never met him until the cons) dubbed Richard the "big brother" of SPN due to his take charge and take care attitude.

above :: Group shot with Fickleone and I with Jim Beaver and Misha Collins

We've seen Jim once before and Misha several times.  I finally got Jim to sign a copy of his book, "Life's That Way" during his autographs.

above :: Mark Sheppard

Mark should be recognizable to sci-fi fans. He's been on Firefly and Doctor Who just to name a couple of shows. He's also been on Leverage.

He portrays Crowley, the King of Hell, on Supernatural. And is wonderful in the role.

Fickleone and I saw Mark at the first Leverage convention in Portland. But while he signed autographs for us - and told us a great story about his first ever on-screen kiss, which occurred on Supernatural - with a 70-year-old man - ha! He didn't do photos at the Leverage con. So I really wanted to a photo with him.

Fickleone and I happened to be first in line for his photos. We didn't want to miss Guy Bee's panel which started 20 minutes after Mark's photo ops began. So we saw Mark come in and interact with folks before the photos began. He was very friendly.

above :: Rick Worthy

This was the first time I'd seen Rick. He portrayed the Alpha Vampire (father of all vampires) in Season 6. He was great at the part. I'd heard from friends that he was a very friendly and great guy. Seemed like everyone who'd met him had nothing but good things to say about him. So I decided to do a photo op on their recommendation. It was a bit weird getting a hug from him. I'd been told he was very huggy. He has this very DEEP fantastic voice. Very friendly. Very outgoing at karaoke on Friday night.

At his panel on Saturday he caused a stir (and a lot of laughter) when he gave a fan a very serious kiss as a joke due to the question she asked. It was a seriously sexy kiss. People were just LOLing when he did that.

above :: Me and Kim Rhodes.  She portrays Sheriff Jody Mills in five episodes starting in Season 6(?) (maybe S5). She also writes a great blog

She's from Portland. Graduated from Benson High School. My husband, who also graduated from Benson wanted me to find out when she graduated. When I told her we were from PDX and my husband was also a Benson alumnae she was "Really?" She then told me to tell Bob that she was the first female Rose Festival driver.

She pulled me in for this big hug. I also got a second shot with her because Chris, the photographer, thought my glasses were reflecting too much (Chris is very great and always gets good shots.) Kim and I were chatting so much that I barely took the time to pose for the second shot. That shot was also good, I just liked this one better.

Later at autographs, I gave Kim my card and told her to call us the next time she's in Portland to visit her father. We'd take her out to lunch. She acted like she would. But we'll see.
