VegasCon 2013 :: Venue Information
Mar. 2nd, 2013 02:04 pmThanks to mrsr58 for finding and sharing this.
Side note: I'm back to freaking out a bit again (but not grumpily!) Maybe I need just to stay away from any information about the size and venue because seems like every time I am exposed to it I get anxious again. Plus I'm so not ready and likely won't do most of my finally getting ready until Weds (the day before we leave.)
First off this is good news: For attendees, navigating the convention area is a breeze. They can bypass hotel congestion and use the Rio's convention parking and a dedicated passenger drop-off area. Alternatively, hotel guests walk down a short hallway that passes Starbucks Coffee and our Business Center to reach the impressive Rotunda. Two registration desks and large projection screens that post the day's events help to direct attendees to their meetings. In the off-hours, a dedicated in-room television channel can be activated so that all participants may simultaneously receive the same message.
Here's a link to the map of the hotel's meeting room facilities. And below are screen shots of some of the more useful of those maps (click to enlarge.)
