Here are my photo ops from the con. My favorite is the Jensen one. It's the best Jensen photo op I've gotten to date. Including the one from LA Con 2008 (which had been my best.)

I didn't do any fun stuff so these are very pretty--but not exciting--photos.  I'm very happy with them.  I'm thinking though that next time I may finally try to do a fun one (if I don't chicken out!)

One of my favorites

I'm compiling a list of favorite photos and stories from the con.  I'll make one post later about all that.  But I wanted to post this one photo of wolfpup2000 (from here).

I got lots of full-on laughing Jared during the LA Con 2009, but not so much at this con because whenever Jared moved too much the photos were too blurry.

This is the Jared I love to see.

Vancon 2009 :: Jim

I really enjoyed seeing Jim for the first time. Random memories:

- When Jim came onstage he was wearing a Castiel overcoat, shirt, and tie. He opened by saying something about dressing like that was the only way to get the girls in this fandom. He apologized for not having wings. He then stripped off the coat and tie, untucked his shirt and basically turned into Bobby.

- He greet us by saying "Hello Idjits." (Of course.)

- He also took questions from the floor. I don't remember a lot of them because by then I was very tired. I remember he was asked if he could cook. He replied, "Yes. There are these things called TV dinners? I can cook those real good." Or something like that.

I should remember more. But my brain was getting dead.

Richard was as funny as usual. Random memories:

- He told a story about how his fanboy crush as a child as The Fonz from Happy Days. He said his dad, a lawyer, was able to sneek on that set one day when they were celebrating the actor who play Joanie's birthday. It was a very funny story that I'm way too brain dead to recount in full.

- He was asked to pick which Winchester brother to fight--he asked if he couldn't fight a Jonas brother instead.

- He was asked if The Trickster was mostly evil or mostly good. He said, "Mostly good."

- He was asked what his favorite SPN episode was.  He's been razzed in the past because he'd never watched any of the episodes.  In LA, a fan who worked near his house said she was going to bring him S1 to watch.  So he watched it.  His favorite episode was Phantom Traveler--which he watched while on an airplane.

  - He re-told the Harley & Sadie story.  Which was still funny the third time around.
