Sunday musings....
Sep. 24th, 2006 01:26 pmGood day today. Perfect weather. Lazy Sunday morning. Think I may even go clothes shopping (which I hate.) I probably feel this way because of 3 days off sick last week equates to 5 total days off of work. My job is toxic to me right now. Everyone is so stressed and I act as a buffer between everyone. Oh well--right now *that* doesn't even bother me.
I'm even adjusting to Emily being out of the house. She's making new friends--from the sounds of it--a lot of them. Good for her.
I'm even showing interest in picking up the house and organizing our bedroom--again likely a sign that time off work did me a world of good.
Hah--I downloaded and listened to a *bunch* of Barry Manilow yesterday on the drive to my mothers. Barry Manilow for crying out loud! I haven't listend so much to him since Jr. High School. It was very wierd listening to him. On the drive home I listened to Bob Dylan (quite a difference.) It was an enjoyable drive both ways.
