On location in S4 of SPN (no spoilers)
LJ Community dean_sam just posted this short video and interview of an SPN S4 on location shoot. Interviewing (very, very briefly) the location manager for SPN (I want THAT job too!)
The entire interview and short video can be found here (no spoilers).
Welcome to Anywhere, U.S.A.
By Dan Ferguson - Surrey North Delta LeaderA hot Illinois sun ripples the air above the battered pavement of a narrow rural road.
A haggard-looking man is walking, none too quickly, towards the small red and green gas station he can see just beyond the battered “SPEED LIMIT 55” sign poking through the tall roadside grass.
As he nears the station, he can see the rusted-out hulk of an old Chevrolet station wagon and a slightly newer and less beat-up sun-bleached white sedan parked to one side.
From the look of it, the building has been here a long time.
The concrete base of the old-fashioned crimson “Highway Chief” gas pumps is battered and chipped. The windows to the garage doors of the single mechanic’s bay are caked with grime. The stucco on the one-storey structure is cracked and the painted-on lettering that advertises LUBRICATION, TOWING and TIRES is faded.
The man manages to get inside the deserted garage, and while he’s exploring, he hears something.
He winces at the apparently ear-piercing sound, desperately pouring salt along the window sill.
Then director Kim Manners calls cut and the “Supernatural” production crew enters the scene and starts setting up for the next shot.
