RIP Andy

This song was truly one of my very favorites back in the day. I listened to it so much. Also reminds me of my father as I usually listened on my tape deck in the back of our station wagon as we were on family road trips (with Dad driving.)   I am having trouble even letting myself listen to this whole thing as I just get this amazing wash of feelings going from happy, loving, sad, nostalgic, very sad, happy.   *sigh*

So sad that Andy has passed.

Edit:  Dating myself even more.   But I had to include this.  Love Story was such a phenomenon in the 70s.   My friends saw it SO many times.  I do have to admit that I literally laughed out loud at the death scene.  But I was a bit 'anti-melodrama/schmoop' at that age.  But man the song, it played on endless loop on the airways in those days.   I did love the song despite the movie.
